Admissions

Hello,

I hope this finds you well. On Monday, March 23, the governor of Virginia announced that all Virginia schools will be closed through the end of the school year. This means that Broadwater Academy’s campus and the Broadwater Academy International House are closed. Our faculty and staff are sad that we will not see our Broadwater family members in person, however, we are “virtually” open for admissions and education! Not only will we offer online/distance learning to our current students continuing “Education Beyond the Walls”, but the Admissions Office will now be online, also.

If you or someone you know is interested in the benefits of a Broadwater education for the 2020-2021 school year, please email me at cbowen@broadwateracademy.org or submit an online inquiry form or application. During these unprecedented times, I will offer a personalized admissions process and experience for each family. That process can include online chats, Zoom conferences, online acceptances, and more. I am sad that we cannot meet in person at this time, but I will work diligently to help you in any way I can and look forward to the day you walk through the doors of Broadwater to join our family!

Learning about and applying to Broadwater Academy is still as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Apply for admissions and/or tuition assistance or email me at cbowen@broadwateracademy.org if you would like to learn more or ask questions before you apply.
  2. For students entering Grades 1-11, complete the School Transcript and Records Release Form and email the signed form to cbowen@broadwateracademy.org so that I can obtain your child’s school records. For Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants and all new Virginia students, send us the Virginia State School Entrance Form
  3. Let me know how I can best answer your questions and meet your needs. We can use Zoom to conference, an online chat, a virtual tour – whatever works best for you.

After these three easy steps are completed, I will set up a time for you to visit and test with us in person after school reopens. Please know that your health and safety are most important to us!

Lastly, stay safe and well. Thank you for your interest in Broadwater Academy, and as we complete this online journey together, I am confident we will find that not only will your child benefit from all that Broadwater Academy has to offer, but that your child will be an asset to our school!

All my best,
Carol
