Broadwater Academy welcomes gifts made in honor or in memory of a loved one. 

  • Gifts made In Honor celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or retirements, or just let someone special know that you appreciate them. Broadwater Academy will send a note to the person advising them that you have chosen to honor them.

  • Gifts made In Memory are for loved ones who are no longer with us. The family of the person in whose memory you make this gift will be advised of your thoughtfulness.

  • The Birthday Book Club is a fun way to honor a Broadwater student and also share the gift of reading with the entire school. Please see more about the Birthday Book Club below.

Birthday Book Club

The Birthday Book Club offers loved ones the opportunity to purchase a book for the school library in honor of a student’s birthday. This is a beloved school tradition and we are excited to offer the program.

A commemorative nameplate will be placed in the book designating the student’s name, birthday, and the donor(s)’s name(s). Birthday Books will be specially presented to students on their birthdays! They may keep their book for up to two weeks, then return to their teacher to remain in the school library for others to enjoy. You are welcome to request a specific title, or you may indicate a particular area of interest for the student and the school librarian will select a book.
