Broadwater Academy is pleased to offer Tuition Assistance to our day students. We partner with Clarity to provide a fair, blind process available to all families.
Who is eligible for Tuition Assistance?
Families with day students in K-12 pay tuition that is affordable for their economic profile. Tuition Assistance is not available to students in Pre-Kindergarten, a program which is eligible for the childcare tax credit due to its status as a licensed day-care, or international or domestic students.

We offer Tuition Assistance to support Broadwater’s mission to support the entire Eastern Shore community. Tuition Assistance makes a Broadwater education accessible to families from a wide range of economic circumstances. We appreciate that a Broadwater education may be a challenging choice for the families of many outstanding students.

Tuition Assistance supports the school’s commitment to economic diversity, which enriches educational opportunities for all families. Participation of a wide range of families is critical to the health of the school.
How do I apply for Tuition Assistance?
Broadwater Academy’s Tuition Assistance program for students entering Grades K-12 is designed to make a Broadwater education possible for families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds.Broadwater Academy is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. Broadwater Academy will cover the application fee. For the 2024-2025 school year, please use the code 35!BroadWa!8r.
